M/s Himu Distributors ("we", "us") is an authorised Indane LPG distributor of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., based at #12, 5th Main, 2nd Block, 3rd Stage, Basaveshwaranagar, Bengaluru – 560079. This policy explains what personal details we collect when you contact us through this website, WhatsApp or phone, why we collect them, and the choices you have. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. What we collect

We do not ask for Aadhaar, bank or card details on this website. Never share OTPs or payment details with anyone claiming to be from us.
2. Why we use it
- To call or message you back about the product or service you asked about.
- To arrange a connection, delivery, refill or installation you request.
- To follow up once on an enquiry you made with IndianOil, as their authorised distributor.
- To understand which of our channels people use, so we can serve customers better.
We use your details only for these purposes. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send you unrelated marketing.
3. Who we share it with
- Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., where needed to register or service your Indane connection.
- Another authorised Indane distributor serving your area, only if your address is outside the area we deliver to, so that your request can be fulfilled.
- Service providers that run our systems on our behalf: Google (Google Sheets and Gmail, where enquiries are stored), Meta (WhatsApp), Cloudflare (website hosting and security), and, if used, a messaging provider for WhatsApp or SMS replies.
- Government or law-enforcement authorities, when required by law.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become our customer, in which case records are kept as required by IndianOil and the law. After that, we delete them.
5. Your choices and rights
- Ask us what details we hold about you, and get them corrected or updated.
- Ask us to delete your details, or tell us to stop contacting you. Choosing "Not now" on our questionnaire does this for that enquiry.
- Withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
- Raise a complaint with us, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website remembers your language choice (English or Kannada) on your own device. If we enable Google Analytics, it uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful; it does not tell us who you are. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and the website will still work.
7. Security
Our website uses a secure (https) connection. Enquiry records are stored in our business Google account, and only our staff can access them.
